I am reviewing a copy of Growing Together through Crossway and Netgalley:

In this books we are reminds us that mentoring involves more than simply developing a friendship with an older or younger woman. It is designed to bring unity in the faith, knowledge of Christ, and maturity that overflows into a secure and stable trust in God that withstands the enemy’s attacks.   Mentoring is helping to lead others to a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Christ.  We are encouraged to share our stories with those we have been mentoring.

This book goes on to encourage us  to pray for the needs of those we are mentoring, and we are reminded that we pray because God hears us, we pray  daily, and we are reminded not to pray using empty phrases that only sound good.

Growing Together is divided into 11 lessons that offer springboards to discussions on mature Christians mentoring newer discussions.

I give Growing Together five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!
