I am reviewing a copy of Best Friends Forever through Bookoture and Netgalley:
As I emerge from the trees I am drenched in sweat. I am unable to speak as I stare at the scene in front of me. The blood. The body. Emma’s eyes meet mine for a second. “It was an accident,” she whispers.
Emma and I had been childhood best friends until that horrible night in the woods.
