This book points out the different kind of difficulties in marriage as well as it encourages women going through difficult marriages to seek out help.  This book reminds us women who are going through difficult marriages to admit their part in the problem. 

Downing points out the importance of women who are going through a difficult time to take care of themselves both physically and mentally.  

All in all I would say this is an important book for women who are going through difficult marriages.
