Edgar Allan Poe
The Fever Called Living

We are reminded in Edgar Allan Poe The Fever Called Living that Edgar Allan Poes Reputation was not earned because of tragedy but inspite of it.  He carefully crafted his words.

Poe's first book received no reviews but he did have the satisfaction of finally being published.

In this brief biography we are shown how Poe often lived in extreme poverty and lived with the demons that would lead to his suicide in 1848.

Five out of five stars.
